Ryan Schweitzer
Ryan Schweitzer is an Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Specialist
(Environmental Engineer, Project
Manager) with 5 years experience in international development and
project
management. Ryan has worked as a technical trainer for the United
States Peace Corps and has taught courses in structural engineering and
sustainable development engineering. Ryan has worked as an independent
consultant for the Ministry of Water and Sanitation of the Dominican
Republic as well as Aguaconsult based in the United Kingdom. Currently
Ryan is an Associate Researcher and doctoral candidate in the Department
of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of South
Florida. His research and teaching interests include: sustainability
assessment, monitoring and evaluation, point-of-use water treatment
technologies, technology transfer, and development in engineering
education. Ryan holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from
University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters of Science in
Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Ryan
is fluent in English and Spanish.
