Christopher Nenninger is a PhD student in the EID program. He grew up in Washington State and went to Central Washington University where he majored in Environmental Geology. After he graduated, he served in the Peace Corps where he was a Rural Aquaculture Promotion (RAP) volunteer in Zambia from 2015-2017.
Afterwards, he came back home and was a substitute teacher in his old school district for 2 years. He was interested in the EID program at USF because of the unique opportunity to do engineering and development work abroad and because of the Peace Corps community at USF.
