Sarah Hayman
Sarah Hayman attained a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rice University. She found civil and environmental engineering as an opportunity to combine interests in improving public health (such as water-borne disease burden) with a passion for the environment. At Rice she was involved in numerous activities including American Society of Civil Engineers and Engineers Without Borders. The experience she gained working on EWB projects in Latin America solidified her love for the humanitarian aspect of civil engineering and helped to form personal and professional goals. She found the PCMI program to be the perfect way to gain practical engineering experience while pursuing academic interests and a career centered on international engineering. She has graduated with an M.S. Environmental Engineering program from the University of South Florida.
